The Project site is situated at sublime hilly area surrounded by luster green mountain from three sides and open view of valley at south. Additional beauty of the site is spiritual aroma of neighboring Buddhist monasteries and 200 feet tall sculpture of “Padmasambhaba”. It is obvious that the proposed buildings of the Project should not disturb the environment. Therefore, the Project is divided into four blocks instead of making it huge single structure. The Architecture of the Project is based upon Neo-traditional Newari Architecture and Green Building Design. In this resort 90% of the building space will be heated by solar energy. Solar energy is also used for water heating. Solar photo-voltaic panel system is designed to produce enough electricity for the whole resort complex. Double glazed window and cavity wall is used to achieve energy efficiency. Rain water harvesting, reuse of grey water and organic farming are its sustainable features. The Project is example of successful amalgamation of renewable energy features into Neo-traditional Newari Architecture.
