Architectural theme of the Project is fusion of Traditional Nepalese Architecture with Modern Architecture.

The master-planning comprises main Corporate Office Building, Flight Catering Center and Auto Care Center and land allocated for future Airport Hotel. The main building stretching east-west with south orientation has been allocated at edge, where sloped land begins. It facilitates acquiring semi-open basement with good cross-ventilation that will take out fumes at parking lot. Also, semi-open type stairwells, which also acts as emergency stairs, are allocated at both end of the building blocking unwanted solar rays of west entering into the building during summer.

Following Green Building Features have been incorporated in the design: Solar Room Heating System, Solar Water Heating System, Solar Electricity Generation System, Insulated Building Envelop (Double Glazed Windows, Extruded Polystyrene Foam and Cavity Wall), Rain Water Harvesting System and Waste Water Recycling System.
